Welcome to In Good Shape, so it’s your first consultation and you are not sure what to expect. Maybe you are new to exercise or maybe It’s just been a while, maybe you are injured and need some guidance on the best exercises to assist your recovery. I am here to help.
Once you arrive, we will do the normal paperwork so I can get your health, medical and exercise history, then time to discuss any concerns that you have and the goals you want to achieve.
If you are interested in weight loss, we can check your weight and measurements. If you would like help with your diet I can make suggesting on the best strategies and options to help you get on track. If you would like a specific diet, I would suggest making an appoint with a dietician.
Depending on your goals, I can write you a program to do at home or we might get straight into the session. If you have some equipment at home you are not sure how to use I can assist you with this.
What to bring? You will need a towel big enough to lay on, if you perspire a lot you may like an extra small towel. Pilates you don’t need shoes just socks and Personal training wear comfortable clothes, joggers and bring along some water.
I have hand sanitiser available on arrival, please use this before and after your session, all equipment is sanitised before you use it. If you are feeling unwell please call ahead and reschedule your session.
Group classes; please book in online for these, you will need to fill in a pre-exercises questionnaire prior to joining, I would highly recommend a private consultation should you have any specific needs or injuries prior to joining a group class. These consultations are available through the week and Saturday mornings.
